saw this specific post on the for you feed weeks ago & have been contemplating buying 1 of these e-readers ever since. are they good, can I put my random pdfs & pubs & cbrs on there. would be nice to have a small screen w no internet or other distractions for reading esp research/non-fiction
i try to not be that annoying with linux shit but whenever someone mention's any trouble with their kindle i go into "Did you know I can just drag and drop almost any kind of book/comic file to my kobo and it just works. no drm and no jailbreak needed or anything:)" mode

Man this really was the year I got into painting, huh? Most of my time was spent taking fat swings at these big technical challenges and I came out the end of it a better artist than I went in + got a ton of art that I'm real proud of outta it

Maybe I get obsessed with lineart this year, who knows?

The Lab Battery’s Tale~ more concept designs for @realgdt.bsky.social FRANKENSTEIN! In early 2022 before production started I worked with Guillermo on keyframes & designs including the lab and battery towers! The approved designs stuck from the early phase and would carry over to the final film.

We lived in a pub when I was growing up and when I was 3 (50 years ago!) we had someone in to draw the pub for a business card. I sat next to him and watched him draw every line. I was transfixed and it was a huge inspiration for me. I’ve dreamt about owning that drawing for years…
