Update 12/4: I'm still not back at the shelter, but I am still working my job there because we were short-staffed the last few weeks anyway. trying to get more people out here by the end of the year. the weather sure is December-ing, but we're getting by for now. anything helps!

my appeal went through quickly, and I'm able to get back into the shelter as soon as I can come claim an open bed. I don't understand the point of it all, kicking me out for a few days just to tell me I can come back anytime, but hey! end of sentence.

Update 11/25: I appealed with the shelter. again. I asked when the "staff member who abuses their power" problem will be addressed. again. I didn't get a clear answer. again. I'm not putting up with this anymore. they blatantly broke their own policy and I'm not punishing myself for that.

Update 11/23: hard weekend. had the best job lead in weeks, third interview tomorrow! also got kicked out again for showing up past curfew, a thing that isn't supposed to be grounds for an exit, but some of the staff just don't care about the rules anymore and do what they want.
