So, just to be clear: all that has to happen is for a student to lodge a complaint against a teacher and that teacher is suspended? That's smart. I can't see any way that this power being placed in the hands of students could possibly backfire.

Part of the problem with liberal arts is that 75% of the country doesn’t know what that means and most of those are probably inclined to think they should dislike it because “liberal” is in it. I think it’s the most valuable education path, but Joe Employer probably won’t in most of the U.S.

Jeff Kent wasn’t the best player on his own team the one year he won the MVP. He had two very good years, one good year, and several serviceable to pretty good years. That’s what the voters went with.

So Bonds and Clemens are halfway to damnatio memoriae. I hate Bonds for cheating but I can’t wait for the public outcry if the technical home run leader is one of the first people excluded from the hall of fame in perpetuity
