I am so honored that a friend thought of me when rehoming their mother’s crochet collection!A bunch of friends and coworkers have been inspired by the colors for new projects and today the last of it goes to OHSU Kitiona club to make items for their newborn ward. <3

Finally got around to making some braided toys for shelter beasties. <3 Four shirts wound up making 27 toys so far, plenty more shirts are still hiding under my crafty desk. I can’t wait to drop these off over the weekend. <3

A friend offered up crocheted pieces to be taken apart for yarn. It was their mother’s work and I couldn’t bear to take apart her beautiful work… so now I’m piecing it all together to make a baby blanket. <3 I’m hoping there’s enough for a pink version later on.

Rose Haven shelter has had so many people donating hats, that they didn’t need our usual hat haul this time…. But Blanchet House did! It’s been a lovely busy week with shelters.
Don’t be afraid to ask how to help, they’re so kind and appreciate the effort so much. <3

Delivery drop to Rose Haven this past Wednesday! Even some of our clients donated coats and slippers to the cause. What’s a beautiful surprise. I’m so grateful to have so many people wishing to help. <3

This cat. lol Ollie needed to terrorize the yarn last night. Love that he neeeeds to be involved in making the shelter hats. Five have been completed this weekend and we’ve got until Wednesday to do a delivery drop! thank you to all our friends and family who donate their yarn for this project! <3

But here’s the latest drop to Rose Haven women’s shelter. <3
7 hats and 7 scarves. Then 3 gallon jugs of shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided through my work crew. So grateful we can all lend a hand. <3

Prepping old shirts from my work crew to be made into cat and dog toys for the humane society. I’ll post photos later, but I’ve already got a big jar full of krinkly catnip filled rounds made from just the shirt sleeves. :)

Had the honor of working with some beautiful cotton yarn donated by a friend. This is my first time working with the small Addi knitting machine and it was so smooth. :)

I’m hoping to be able to donate hats to OHSU for their baby wing. Looks like this is more of a preemie size from this machine. <3
