I don't know what you're talking about, there's nothing weird about her teeth being the only part with a texture/UV/normal mapping, and nowhere else.

I also think of the old adventure games, Star Trek out otherwise, as being set up like a theatre stage. A single view, and all the props and background go away and are replaced when characters exit stage left/right
