strange new worlds just baffles me because the special effects are so good and I genuinely love the uniforms/general “aesthetic” for their faux retro look. and when they do a good episode its a great episode. they just hate anything but riverdale-esque romantic conundrums as the only drama

insomnia’s talking again. anyways forever mourning the lower decks post-canon longfic i had planned set about 15 years later where they all lost contact (maybe not so unintentionally) and are forced together when captain (!) mariner’s deep space exploration ship goes off radars
