I think the right move here is the same as the right move for any journalist working for a suspect new boss (which has happened to almost all of us): Do exactly what you would ordinarily do, exactly the way you would ordinarily do it, until you are told point-blank that you can't. Then ask why.

The notion that Bari will be "running CBS News" is slightly misleading. What the reporting suggests is that Tom Cibrowski, a guy with normal qualifications, will be doing that. Bari will be Emperor Ellison's Vader-esque enforcer, outside the chain of command, intervening at will.

“My grandbabies, they said, ‘Grandma, my skin’s burning,’” the woman recalled.

The woman said she turned off the air conditioning to try to keep the chemicals from coming through the vents.

Days later, she could not describe the smell of the gas. Just that “it burns” and that it made her chest hurt.

She couldn’t be sure, though, whether the pain was from the chemicals or the fear.

I’ve heard his name and know a little about him but this is the first time I’ve actually been forced to see him and listen to him talk, and…Theo Von is UNBEARABLE.

And TERRIBLE as a celebrity guest picker. Sheesh. My skin was crawling the entire time and eventually I had to turn it off. 🤢

The exact statement -- if the transcript indicates that social media posts reflect the president's decision-making, and should be considered as the basis for those decisions -- strikes me as VERY valuable fodder for other litigation.

People who don’t know or care about justice *for others* cannot comprehend the moral authority wielded by the victims of injustice. They dimly guess that this authority is rooted not in justice, but in victimhood. So they seek to usurp it thru competitive displays of indignation.
