Hey #runners #ultrarunners who has written on the rise of people centering a journey narrative on a “why”? Where did we get this idea that we need a “why” to go do stuff? It strikes me as repackaging of an old idea but I can’t put my finger on it.

Not going to your city council meetings? They let anyone speak on any topic. Which countries make the weather? Should we plant more trees? How much notice do unhoused people deserve for evacuation? Can we get more public comment periods on the city’s studies?

I got to my nail appt early to soak off my old gel polish. There is a sign saying to let them know I need to take off old polish but no receptionist and the only nail tech is very deep in convo with someone. So I will sit here awkwardly and take my scolding when my old polish is still on.

1) Green bell peppers are just crunchy water.

Seems like a cool time to mention that if you volunteer at an Iditarod checkpoint & already have cold weather stuff, your only out-of-pocket expense is a flight to Anchorage sooooo maybe go to Iditarod.com and apply #iditarod #uglydogs (also you can rent cold weather gear pretty cheaply up there)
