An underrated benefit of CC viewership-wise.
She brought in a new group of fans who probably had not seen Kelsey Mitchell play much. Maybe they heard of Aliyah Boston from SC but were not totally familiar. Now they see how great these players are.

I am amazed that Caitlin Clark's star continues to rise even with her being injured for the bulk of the season.
I love what the Fever are accomplishing with Clark on the bench.

Outside of NY and SF I don't trust any franchise to be able to handle it

I'd say the appropriate way to think about it is what if we ignore close games altogether and just look at record in games decided by six points or more. And that bears remarkably little resemblance to the actual WNBA standings.
