5 weeks post op today!!! The scale isn’t really moving, but I can definitely tell a difference in the pictures!!! I’m feeling so much better as well, and my sugar is doing the best it’s been in years. Looking forward to seeing where I am this time next year. Let’s go 2026!!

Also, update on my RNY/gastric bypass. I had it on 11/25/25 and am feeling a lot better. The first week and a half was rough. Especially the first couple of days. But I’ve lost nearly 17lbs since surgery and am starting to eat more solid food, which gives me more energy.

The fact a *single* Amazon full-time employee requires SNAP benefits should be a crime. The fact Amazon is the largest employer of SNAP recipients is a disgrace. Jeff Bezos shouldnt be that rich; he should be in jail.

Been so sick over the last week and a half. Ended up in the hospital for a few days last week. Thought I was going to end up readmitted toward the end of the week. Luckily I’m on the mend! Thankful to be feeling better.

Spoke to my insurance coordinator this morning. Once I get all my cardiac stuff done next week, I can have my last weigh in first week of November. Once that’s done he can submit for insurance approval and I could potentially have surgery scheduled the Tuesday before Thanksgiving!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Down 5 lbs from my first weigh in last month and got my clearance letter from my pcp today! Going to the cardiologist next week for cardiac clearance and a chest X-ray and ekg. Then all that’s left is my last weigh in next month!! Things are moving quickly and I’m so excited.

Got my psych approval for my upcoming bariatric surgery this morning! So looking forward to living a much healthier life and hopefully reversing my diabetes!!! Already implementing some big changes. I’m so excited!!!
