A guest lecturer (one of the top property investors in the US) told my Intro to Real Estate b-school class that the secret to making money in real estate was knowing where (upper) middle-class whites were going to go next.

My two houses & 17 years in the industry have only confirmed it.
Making real estate, particularly private residences, a store of wealth was a mistake.

Because I can't leave well enough alone. Just in case you missed it the first time, but now in light of Trump blaming a plane crash on DEI, Obama, and Biden policies without any proof - I can't stress enough how harmful these false flags are. I'll ring this alarm forever.

Wait until all of those Florida subdivisions have to start paying to replace septic tanks that developers installed to avoid going through an entitlement process with county sewage and water districts.

Can't wait to see who he gives up and the prosecutorial domino effect this plea deal creates. This is the DOJ's second bite at the apple to clean up corruption in Cleveland, and I hope they don't just settle for a nibble.

I suspect Bessent received historic tax credits for all of these homes, given his penchant for historic properties and held them in LLCs, so the tax benefits probably offset any losses.
