This was such a long week! I’m not heavy into astrology, but whenever Mercury is in Retrograde, I can feel it. 🥱

Odd that the DoJ is opening an investigation into the Epstein files since they said in July that there was no client list and nothing to release.

This is Adelita Grijalva.

She was elected to Congress two weeks ago, officially making her the final vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files.

She has still not been sworn in because Mike Johnson refuses to do so.

Grijalva: The frustration for me is that it seems as if Speaker Johnson is not willing to swear me in because our politics are a little different, or because I’m going to be the 218th signer—he can just continue to drag this along with no end in sight.

That is not a foundation of our democracy.

Your legacy is the way you made people feel. Your words and actions and rhetoric.

It’s how you’ll be remembered. It’s your lasting impact on others.

We should be helpers in this world, not only because it’s right and good and just, but because it is the legacy we leave for others.

We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.

Democrat James Talarico is a minister-in-training and fierce opponent of Christian nationalism.

He entered the Texas Senate race this week after helping lead his party’s opposition of Trump’s gerrymandering scheme.

September and October are filled with sacred Jewish holidays. We hope organizations, schools, and local governments will be inclusive of the Jewish community by avoiding scheduling major events on these dates. Check out the dates here and share it to help spread the word.

Between Kilmar Abrego Garcia and the DOJ official who tried to extort a plea out of him with threats of trafficking him to Uganda, there is someone who committed a crime. But that someone isn't Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

I’m not upset if someone on SNAP wants to buy chips.

There are very wealthy people in this country who profit off Americans who have cancer.

That does upset me.
