An explosively complex, responsive process.
The pattern is clear. The effects are documented. The methods are available.

Success is measured by whether domination has to work harder to persist.

Domination does not end when we recognize it. It ends when we make it too costly to continue. And that doesn’t require heroes, purity, or final answers. It requires distributed, adaptive, relational practices of refusal that increase friction at every available point.

Pattern Recognition Over Event Focus: Stop asking “Will Trump invade Greenland?” Start asking “What pattern does the threat serve?” The pattern: normalization of territorial claims, erosion of alliance trust, distraction from domestic violence.

The murder of #ReneeGood is not an unfortunate incident in law enforcement. It is the predictable outcome when state actors operate with “absolute immunity”

The #Davos speech is not diplomatic eccentricity. It is the explicit renunciation of the fiction that American power ever operated through consent.

The #FBI transformation is not bureaucratic reform. It is the conversion of investigative capacity into enforcement capacity.
January 22, 2026 at 2:32 PM
The FBI’s transformation echoes its history with COINTELPRO. The occupation of #Minneapolis mirrors the historical policing of Black neighborhoods. The language used to dehumanize immigrants and allies is the same logic that has always justified racialized violence.

Shift your perception. Move from being overwhelmed by the chaos to noticing the patterns within it. Stop looking for heroes and start looking for the everyday practices of solidarity and refusal that are already happening all around you.

Refuse despair. The fact that domination has to work this hard, has to be this loud, this brutal, this chaotic is not a sign of strength. It’s a sign of its instability. It’s a sign that its legitimacy is eroding. And in that erosion, in that rupture, space opens up for something new to be built.
January 21, 2026 at 4:29 PM
Refuse the fiction of innocence. The “rules-based order” was never truly just; it always served powerful interests. #ICE has always involved violence and racialized logic. Recognizing this prevents nostalgia for a past that never existed and focuses our attention on the patterns that persist.

Our task is not to repair the irreparable. It’s to organize life and resistance in full view of it. It’s to build new forms of relationship that are not dependent on the validation of the states or corporations that inflict this harm.

Renée Good’s life can’t be returned. The colonial history that makes #Trump believe he can “purchase” #Greenland can’t be erased. The carbon emitted to power #AI data centers can’t be removed. We can’t “fix” these things. Pretending only stabilizes domination with the false promise of resolution.

MN unions understand that if their labor and consumption are required to make the economy run, then the withdrawal of that cooperation is a source of immense power. The planned economic blackout is an act of saying, “Enforcement depends on our acquiescence. We do not acquiesce.”
