In the five years I was a sup I saved at least five jobs for shitty fucking people who took advantage of me and knew I would let them use vacation time or “accidentally” forget to strike them because I was so desperate to have people working so I wouldn’t have to work 60/70 hour weeks

Anyway you’d get five additional strikes after you run out (unpaid or course) and most people use THOSE by the end of October

So when there’s essentially a state of emergency (or an actual state of emergency!!) and they don’t show up, they’re fired
