It feels like people have stopped valuing peace and quiet. The same neighbors of mine who say they moved here for quiet are now letting their dogs bark 8 hours a day. Next door runs a mower next to my wall 4 days a week. Others think they need a rooftop leaf blower on weekend mornings.
