Day off so it’s down the plot even though there’s not much to do. My plot neighbour Simon and I exhange home brewed beer (his) for home made wine (mine) occasionally and he’s left me a welcome present. Now to settle down in the shed and have a read.

I started this allotment fire with a notebook from the job I held up until the end of 2023. It was quite the pressure cooker environment. The department I worked for is gone now & all the things people held were vitally important are utterly gone too, up in smoke like the notebook. Makes you think.
