after weeks of testing with pre-captured images and simulations, I've tested my part alignment on a real machine and it FUCKING WORKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

We're currently using image processing based approaches to do detection and pose estimation on parts and fiducials, but I'm super curious to see how you've applied ML-based techniques to aspects we hadn't thought of. :)

cannot express enough how grateful i am to work in open hardware and have coworkers all fundamentally on the same page that we are anti AI. like, it wasn't even up for debate when we had a discussion about not using it in our work - no one was using it anyways, and everyone was already against it.
