Like, they're playing this stuff in the middle of a blue county in the bluest of blue states in an establishment where almost every customer except the obligatory embarassment of cops is a POC. Like, they can't even bother to vary it by market, which would be operationally trivial.

That doesn't make people's depression a problem of over medicalization. That means they are developing preventable conditions because of reduced resilience as a result of adverse conditions in their environment that they have little or no control over.

Yes, people get depressed now after life events like breakups that previously they would have recovered from. And that's the case because people have minimal support and friend networks, people are under an incredible amount of socioeconomic stress, & people work more than they have in generations.
