We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

Thanks Thomas. Particularly pleased that the Brandy got something. With major cider makers buying less and less apples (using sugar and water to make their so-called ciders), every use for cider apples is a big deal for growers.

We can only make about 100 bags every second day, so we're limited in the distribution of these.

I had a good day today. Spoke at length about craft cider at Blas na hEireann in Dingle, won a bronze for our apple crisps in the snack category, and then a bronze (up against major competitors) in the spirits category, for The 80 apple brandy with The Tipperary Distillery.

Then to round it off, our fellow Tipperary Producer, Cashel Blue cheese, won artisan of the year for 2025.

“The e-bike market is skyrocketing — and, according to some studies, outpacing electric cars…The question now is: Do officials double down on deadly car-centric urban design, or do they rethink cities to encourage people to ditch four wheels for two?”

E-bikes could cut carbon, congestion, and costs — if cities take them seriously
E-bike sales are booming, providing a clean form of transportation that also improves public health. Yet cities remain committed to cars.

Washington Post dismantled the platform Jamal wrote on. Discarded the fellowship they created in his memory.

They fired me unjustly for speaking the truth.

But I’ll never stop talking about my friend, writer, and amazing human, Jamal Khashoggi.

RIP, Jamal.
