Going to living history museums is my happy place. I fell in love with history after a school band trip had a visit to Williamsburg as part of the itinerary. I insisted on my honeymoon to go to both of the mackinac living history sites with hubby and was living my best life while there lol.

I am fascinated with the "mundane" history that I feel gets overlooked in favor of military stuff, traditionally speaking. I want to know what they wore, what they ate, what music was like, how they did domestic life in the day to day. Stuff like that is my sphere of interest.
