Finished this cross stitch little bit of #goblincore motivation lmao. For free-handing (idk how else to refer to it in fibercraft) the words, using an old alphabet pattern book, i think i did pretty okay lol.

One of my favorite things to do for folks not from where I live(or baby gays learning the culture lol) is to take them to the house that they used to film the exterior shots for
Roseanne. Like most of the houses in this city it's a rental now, but it's still a fun little bit of TV history to share.

Hubby started playing this post apocalyptic delivery simulator game and told me to help come up with a name for his delivery company and I think I'm really freaking clever cause I told him "Payload". Cause it's got two meanings: cargo; and the destructive force of a nuke.

We each picked out our ornaments for the year for our solstice tree. Mine is the possum, obviously, hubby picked the cowboy chicken, and our little loves gnomes so she "picked" this one (she was too grumpy to pick so we helped)

I appreciate the Tolkien audiobooks narrated by Andy Serkis. Not only is he just good at narrating, but it's very delightful that he goes right into his gollum/smeagol voice for that character's dialog, it tickles me in a way I can't rightly explain.

Funny story from hubby's weekend job at the game store: a while back a couple of meth heads came in to essentially case the place, asking if they had the most expensive card in mtg (the 1/1 one ring from the lotr set) and hubby goes "you're going to have to contact Post Malone if you want that".🤣

I called the two dogs that won the dog show that came on after the parade. It felt kind of nice to be like "i favor the foxhound and the Belgian sheepdog to win" and then have them get 1st and 2nd

I went and made a couple of cranberry bread loaves because there's so much i just don't care about in the parade. I think I'm getting old because I found myself grumbling about not caring less about these new shows or musicians.
