also these thugs might think that immunity and a presidential pardon will indemnify them from civil lawsuits by people who's constitutional rights they violated - they are going to be shocked by the numbers coming at them via litigation

Professional athletes are being advised not to leave the hotel or go anywhere without their passports while visiting Minnesota.
This is not a country that can safely host international events like the World Cup.
Boycotting is not even a political question anymore. It is a basic issue of safety.

The Montreal Canadiens are playing the Minnesota Wild in Minneapolis tonight. The players have been recommended to stay in/eat at the hotel, take the team bus to the arena, and carry passports.

Horrendous, but warms my heart to see my hometown rise up.
DHS should be embarrassed that their ICE agent hires are so soft they can’t handle being videotaped, even while masked, so they resort to pepper spraying women at close range.

Anecdotally I know of a few dudes who are nice guys but who never put any effort into anything social bc they want to do these things w specifically a girlfriend... and they don't seem to realize this mindset is precisely what is keeping them from getting a gf in the first place

The nepo baby senior director has directed us underlings to do "homework" and make a fake contract agreement online to prove we can do so (my job does not entail sending any contracts), but I don't even think I have the permissions to create one in the site we use lol

Looking back on my long experience with depression and ideation, and as awful as it is, I think a big thing that stopped me from wanting to end my life was realizing that there are a lot of assholes who deserve to die more than me
