Don’t for one second, not one millisecond, say babies drowning in Texas is justified because of their parent’s vote.

Jesus Christ. Be better.

On April 6, 2025 (less than 1 month ago) I purchased a bag of rice from the grocery store.
Cost: $6.99

Today (May 1, 2025) I purchased the same brand/size bag of rice from the same grocery store. Cost: $10.99

Are we great yet?

Also, is anyone calling their healthcare providers to see what they’re doing to protect patient confidentiality in the wake of these new “registries?”

Like… how do I get all my providers to delete & burn my records? I don’t need brain work knowing my ‘ish.

I’ve been saying since he officially accepted the nom - he’s not a lame duck. There’s no way they nominated & elected a lame duck President.

They’ve been saying he’s not leaving. He’s said he’s not leaving. He even said we’ll “never have to vote again.”

& we need to believe them when they say it.
And he's a lame duck
Let's wake up. He's REALLY unpopular for this early in a term or really ever. President's this unpopular are already losing. Power becomes harder to assert when your power is fading.

On April 4 I suspected I had a sinus infection (I get like 6 per yr).

Went to CVS & bought a rapid Covid/Flu test - negative.

Went to my PCP - she wanted to do a Covid/Flu/RSV PCR just in case - negative.

This morning received a bill for $142.

The test cost $700+ & my insurance paid 75%.

If Trump & Musk have suffered an unprecedented number of judicial injunctions, it is because they have committed an unprecedented number of illegal actions. We don’t have rogue district judges, we have a rogue president violating the Constitution & breaking the law every day. Watch my statement:
Ranking Member Jamie Raskin delivers his opening statement during today’s hearing on how MAGA Republicans want to change how the judicial system works because Trump keeps losing in court.

No, but if there are nine other Senators who will "stand in the door" with Senator Booker and speak for 2.5 hours each, the Senate can be shut down indefinitely.

Question - what are GOP senators doing? Is the chamber just filled with Dems? Any any GOP senators present?

After nearly 20 hours, Sen. #CoryBooker is still going strong. A Herculean feat of physical, mental, vocal & moral stamina.

I plucked this two-minute passage from his 20th hour. (Yes, he said this after nearly 20 hours on his feet)

I was so taken by it, I had to transcribe & share.

Welp, we tried to run bipartisan legislation so that Members with newborns could vote remotely, and rather than allow the legislation—the Speaker SHUT THE HOUSE DOWN and canceled votes for the rest of the week.

This is what’s happening in the House right now. ⬇️

Question: did the Dem Senators know prior to last night that @booker.senate.gov would be doing this, or did their teams prep their questions and coordinate everything overnight/this morning? cc: @warren.senate.gov @sanders.senate.gov @markey.senate.gov

Flight information about illegally deported individuals - "state secrets." War plans discussed via texting apps - "nothing classified." Got it.
The Trump administration refused to hand over flight data requested by a federal judge about the deportation of alleged Venezuelan gang members to El Salvador, warning that doing so would put state secrets at risk.
