Reminder that Gkids' release of Tokyo Godfathers has a dub where not only is Hana played by a trans VA, but they helped on the translation too! So both the dub & sub are way more trans friendly than the old translation ✌️

I don't want an AI that renders images that vaguely resemble Ghibli films. I want an AI - or just a regular I - that informs everyone the man's name was Yoshifumi Kondo, he's the guy who designed the characters you think of when you think of "Ghibli", and he died in 1998 at age 47 from overwork

“Pretty Pretty Please I Don’t Want to be a Magical Girl” has the perfect balance of the magical girl tropes we all know and love, comedy, and action. It’s truly a love letter to the genre and with black girls at the forefront. 11/10. Go watch it!
