People in the US are so divorced from the costs of a major conflict that they think this shit is a game. When a global conflagration wipes out an entire generation, you're more reluctant to start one. This political environment feels like the eve of WWI when all the empires were itching for a fight.

We gotta get Palestinian activists/journalists on Blue Sky or at least do our part to promote their stories because they're all still mostly on twitter and while it's lovely not having as many nazis around these parts it's also important that they not be trapped there if all the leftists are jumping

Blocking people is good and fine and we do it all the time in real life. We just stop talking to people or going to those places or moving to a new town.
