Turns out not everyone needs a daily dose of prebiotics & probiotics. If it's taken & not needed the Gut Microbiome becomes VERY ANGRY. Nothing good comes of an angry gut microbiome which is what I've been learning for an entire week. I threw the 'biotics in the trash.

Turns out not everyone needs a daily dose of prebiotics & probiotics. If it's taken & not needed the Gut Microbiome becomes VERY ANGRY. Nothing good comes of an angry gut microbiome which is what I've been learning for an entire week. I threw the 'biotics in the trash.
I feel like I'm crawling out of a dark hole. All my chronic symptoms decided to jump in a mosh pit together for a few days. I could barely move, was seldom awake, and when I was awake I was wishing that I wasn't. I don't know WTF triggered that, but I wish I did so I can avoid it.

About five days ago I accidentally found my microgreens kit and started a tray of microgreens. I've followed the directions and Things should be Happening. I'm betting our apartment is too cold because turning on the heat is too expensive unless the pipes are in danger of freezing/bursting. #seeds

The first new thing I've tried in 2026 is PowerAde Xtra Sour Peach Pucker and IT. IS. GOOD. (Good as in delicious, not necessarily good as in the healthiest thing I could be drinking.)(It's still better for me than all the Pepsi I used to drink.)

Why in the name of all that's holy does "making puff pastry" require so much banging, thumping, and loud grouching? If my husband doesn't pound something right through our flimsy kitchen counter I'll be mildly surprised.
