Why don't we penalize companies that do these huge hiring waves followed by huge layoffs? I mean, I know why we don't--business before people in this country, same as it ever was, etc. But it really fucks up peoples' lives. Don't fucking do this to your employees.

It is so distressing to me that using em dashes and forced line breaks between paragraphs now makes people accuse you of using ChatGPT. That’s how I have written my whole life! And I’m a designer and it just looks cleaner to have that white space! I’m hereby reclaiming good type design for humans.
