I think it’s safe to say TK has played himself off of this roster. Has anyone else? Between his play in the last 10 months with the Team Canada spotlight on him and his career 1G in 22 playoff games, I’m out on TK as a long term piece here. Find a way to move him. I’m out.

Re: Friedman - He's talking about the Flyers. That's a sentiment we've heard directly from this FO before.
Re: Dreger - An NJD trade would likely start w/Nemec and Hamilton (for cap compliance) and a 1st round pick but the Hamilton bit isn't an asset in the NJD trade package, it's a liability.

Hughes: Highest acq. cost bc he has highest ceiling and he's hit it! His resume is impressive. He's won the Norris. He's also 26, 5'10" 180 lbs. He's unquestionably the best of the lot, but not the biggest and while VAN is losing leverage, his cost should be the highest.

Here's the issue w/Flyers Twitter in a nutshell: PHL was 1/2" from a huge W against the 2x defending Western Conf champion, led by the best player in the world.

Love this from Anthony DiMarco's article. Zegras and Michkov both "positionless" players who make the entire roster more dynamic. Now the Fyers need that positionless "Rover" defenseman. While I really like what we've seen from Drysdale, I'm not sure he's that guy. Would likely come via trade.

Flyers twitter, like all of Twitter, operates on a set of foundational grievances that can never be quelled. One bad loss and suddenly Michkov is being ruined by Tocchet and everyone is on the trade block. It’s completely divorced from the reality that this was less than a week ago.
