Shitty play calling and clock management leading to having to go for long field goals from a shaky placekicker TWICE at the end of the half was the big problem with the Eagles there.

If you're going to try to get the defense to jump on 4th and 1 instead of running a play, at least line up in Tush Push formation and increase your odds.

Sam Ersson cost the flyers back to back games IMO. They were the better team in both games and soft goals were the difference. He’s been disappointing this season. Thought he’d bounce back from the difficult usage but the soft goals and poorly timed goals have plagued him.

That interaction earlier that was positioned as Michkov v. Tocchett looked like Michkov was disagreeing with Yogi actually. It seemed like he was saying Toc and Yogi are giving him conflicting messages. I wonder about Yogi and would have preferred a more experienced OC/PP coach.
Holy shit the lack of movement on the Flyers PP is infuriating. MOVE AROUND. CROSS OVER EACH OTHER. GET THE DEFENSE TO MOVE.

I’m in the “Sam Ersson is better than his numbers” camp and I’ve been a long time defender. Hell, I think they should extend him to back up Vladar! But he cost them a regulation win today. No question.
