Agreed, it is short sightedness from corporates. If you displace so many workers over I assume will be a short space of time, they will spend less. Hence less money spent on Amazon and other services etc.

Just watching Die Hard 2 on BBC for the millionth time. Love this film, but it has dawned on me. The pilots at the end could see the runaway due to the fire from the explosion of the plane.
Why didn’t anyone think of creating a large fire on all runways. Problem solved.

Folks: remember that your iMessages (and text messages) are typically backed up to Apple as part of your iCloud backup. If you don’t have Advanced Data Protection turned on, those may be readable by Apple, governments with warrants, and anyone who hacks Apple.
