The reason I don’t vibe with “They only used AI for placeholder textures/text and just forgot to remove them” is because placeholder textures should be really easy to notice so that you DON’T forget to remove them, and Lorem Ipsum already exists as the ideal placeholder text

Yeah it’s just be the first encounter, but I think it would be so cool to see a series really take it’s time and lean into the alien side. Like, until the Autobots can configure their universal translators, the humans who discover them have no idea what these things ARE

Archaeologists in a newly-activated Ark, watching these half-broken mechanical beings shamble around. Seemingly split between trying to repair themselves?? Repair each other?? They keep looking over to you. Are they asking for help? Are they a threat? All of them are armed. It’s so noisy.

This page reminds me, one thing I’d like Transformers to lean into is how unnerving it would be to actually encounter one for the first time. Like, imagine if we did discover extraterrestrial life and they ended up being millennia-old metallic titans

Repairing them with conventional parts found on Earth, even. Like, if their plating gets blown off, just weld some regular steel on there. It doesn’t have to be Cybertronian material
