What is a mostly-forgotten movie you watched a lot as a child?

Mine's The Great Land of Small (1987)--starring Michael J. Anderson!

Working on writing up my review, but TL;DR: Tales of Occult Britain is great! A beautifully produced volume of short stories intended as a companion for the Hellebore Guide to Occult Britain. Read if you love @helleborezine.bsky.social, folklore, folk horror, and stories with a sense of place.

I think it's a common theme! Also the topic of Tracy Fahey's novella

Well, this is delightful.

A show about a neurodivergent-coded perimenopausal woman who takes a folkloric journey of self-discovery? Was this written just for me? Maybe!

And I was just thinking how Zabriskie was giving badass Ripley vibes

The Woman in the Yard is two-thirds of a great movie. Promising family drama, tense and claustrophobic setting, a mysterious supernatural villain. Not to mention some nice use of daytime scares. But the third act really falls apart!
