Picked up new boots this winter from NexGrip, Canadian company that has deployable ice cleats built into the boots. Haven’t needed them yet, but am also not venturing out later today or early tomorrow.

We skipped Thanksgiving because I’m not willing to share a meal with Nazis. It’s hard to make those decisions and harder when they’re around emotionally-charged holidays. I hope you have chosen family to help carry some of the burden.

Firefox is essentially irrelevant now. At my prior job it made up less than 5% of visits to our sites. Low enough that it wasn’t worth our time to test things on it.

When I lived in San Diego, it was easy to spot the people visiting from northern climes. They were in shorts and t-shirts on the beach while the rest of us were in parkas because it was 60F.

When the first Avengers movie came out, AMC theaters did a marathon of all the previous MCU films, followed by Avengers. Was something like a 12-hour day with fans who loved the films. That was a lot of fun.

Good questions. I was thinking that recalls were coming from the still-functioning vestiges of what pass for our government (see shredded cheese recalls, frex). With the way things are, however, this one could be bogus.
