This is an entirely valid concern. I have been eyeing all of my repositories and thinking about where the servers are physically located and where the organizations operating them are. I'm looking into some contingencies.
As a testament to the dire situation in the U.S., our university (Uni. Iceland) just sent an email on the risk of data (used or gathered by European institutions) stored in the United States being deleted, altered, or access to it restricted. #academia #waronscience #disinformation
