I am so old, I remember when I had to listen to a bunch of folks who claimed that they were Democrats, but they couldn’t vote for Harris because she didn’t support the people in Gaza hard enough, and somehow, Trump was going to be better.

I’d add that FOX News Corp spent a lot of time and money convincing them that ignorance was a valid opinion, and worthy of respect.
An essential development over the past decade-plus is that the ignorant went from feeling chastened when their ignorance was revealed to banding together and deciding that, actually, they were right. They might disagree at times, but they agreed that ignorance itself was an indicator of trust.

I guess we can just assume that Obama signed the law, the Epstein Transparency Act, and Trump didn’t want to undo it… or something, because obviously, obviously, the guy who signed the law would not now be calling it “corrupt”, right? Right???
