Good morning #joinin friends. I’m starting my day early as usual. We stay just a hotel every year when we travel back home and this year ours has a waterfall (so peaceful)! Everyone else is still sleeping, so I’m downstairs coloring and playing my switch. I need to find some caffeine!

My wife’s SDiT (service dog in training), has a larger bag than she does when we go away. He needs his pajamas, various harnesses, boots and backup boots, and his favorite blanket and stuffy. He may work, but he gets a lot of downtime too.

There are a few days left in this year. I am 53 out of 60 for my book reading goal for 2025, and 850 out of 1000 hours for book listening. I have approximately 200 hours into my favorite podcasts as well.
Good things I have approximately 20 hours of driving before the end of the year.

I often don’t have folks to share all of the little quips I absorb from podcasts with anyone. But I’ve been listening to @unexploredcast.bsky.social and frequently texting my beloved about all the silly goings on. I also may have texted her “what in the fresh hell is this”. Deliverance, OH is wild.
The funniest podcast episodes really aren’t the comedians but rather the extremely nerdy people making puns about their niche interests that barely translate to anyone outside the room. It’s perfection and restores my faith in humanity. 🤭
