For the record, my issue with critical psychiatry is this. Baseline, they think they are so different but actually are one of the same.
1. It stops seeing me. It assumes everything I say is to maintain the "sick role". From this position, anything I say is warped.

DWP in bed with mental health charities makes me sick. I saw a 10 week singing for wellbeing courses recently and wanted to go. Until I read the blurb stating someone would be there to help with work searching...

MH services harmed me as they didn't listen or take on board the abuse. Instead they (without any evidence) ignored and denied it happened and pathologised me instead. The harm they did on top of it was awful

In 5 years, the only real support I have had is the Freedom Programme. It lasted 6 weeks. And that's it.
