I hate when TV/movies use psychiatrists as therapists, no LCSW, LMFT, PsyDs, etc. It's too inaccurate for me. Rarely have any psychiatrists Ive worked with in 10yrs did therapy at all, it's mostly med management. Reality is most therapists are not psychiatrists though some do some therapy but rarely

I challenged a client today to reflect & feel her feels as well as exploring & honoring her values & boundaries. They didnt wanna do it at first & I explained the exercise & how it can break a pattern that has impacted relationships/kept them superficial.
She told me I was good at what I do.🥰

Caught up on all my notes before 10p. There was almost 50 at the beginning of the week. 😭 Going back to work & getting back into the swing of things after a 6.5mo LOA was kinda hard. Now I can go back to completing notes every day like I did before my major burn out🤞🏼😆

I upgraded RAM on an old laptop, which made it a bit faster but I'm going to upgrade the hard drive too & give it more RAM. It should work much better. It's still a perfectly good computer, just slow because of all the upgrades in tech & software. Can't upgrade the processor though.
