A member of Congress could literally bet on their own vote and profit 10x. A White House aide could bet on a tariff decision before it’s announced. Theres ZERO oversight. This isn’t innovation, it’s legalized insider trading on democracy itself. Ban Kalshi politics

A platform that lets insiders (and legislators) gamble on their own behavior is a threat to democracy.

Zohran Mamdani's Pragmatic Socialism Is Paying Off—For Now
The incoming mayor has improbably charmed Donald Trump and given himself some political breathing room. But nobody should get too comfortable.

The redcoats never left—they just traded in their coats for red hats. Different era, same oppression. History doesn’t repeat, but it sure does rhyme.

The Justice League (European allies) pushed a UN resolution condemning Russia’s invasion, but the U.S. ditched its hero cape and joined the Legion of Doom—Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran. Once Ukraine’s biggest ally, America just pulled a full villain arc, siding with the Axis of Evil instead.

Did Trump truly win the 2024 election? I guess those claims about rigged voting machines and fraudulent ballots were just for dramatic effect. & the sudden silence from election fraud alarmists? Pure coincidence, I’m sure. It’s almost as if the integrity of the election was never really in question.

This is a clear form of voter suppression. Creating obstacles for married women, especially those who change their names, is a deliberate tactic to restrict access to the ballot. Instead of ensuring fair elections, these policies disproportionately impact women, making it harder for them to vote.
Married women could face new obstacles to vote. This is what conservatives want. | Opinion
Republicans are fast-tracking the SAVE Act under the guise of ensuring only US citizens are voting. But who does this bill hurt most? Married women.

Support worker strikes and unions 2 challenge billionaire exploitation. Boycott unethical corporations & back ethical businesses. Push for wealth redistribution—higher taxes on the ultra-rich, closing loopholes, & policies that fund the public good over private greed. Shift power back 2 the people.

The sad thing about this is that his followers don’t even realize what this means for them.
A judge just blocked Elon Musk and co-president Donald Trump from firing the financial cops at the CFPB who protect consumers from Wall Street scams.

There's power in fighting back.
Judge temporarily halts mass firings at CFPB, preserves agency data
The order also blocks acting CFPB Director Russ Vought from taking steps to defund the agency.
