I just reached a new level of being a mom. My toddler apparently put one of his little wooden carrots in the back of my shirt last night and I didn't realize it until now after sleeping on it for five and a half hours. Princess and the Pea I am not.

I'm so jealous! That was actually the last concert I went to before COVID lockdown in 2020. Ours was the last stop before they canceled the tour and it was phenomenal. I've seen them a billion times, but that time was just kind of a weird fun thing before the world was quiet for a while.

You know what, with the exception of the quiet little hang I had at my awesome friend's house, my birthday weekend kinda sucked ass. I know it's been a week, but I'm still a little salty about it. I'm really grateful for the friends I got to spend time with though and at least there's that.

Dude 100%, at the beginning of COVID a bag of Hershey chocolates was like $14, 2 months ago it was $16 and now it's up to $20. That is absurd.

Yeah our usual weekly grocery shopping is like 250 bucks (two adults and a toddler) but this was literally just going to get a handful of things we needed, most of which was generic store brand medicine for my cold. This is trash and I hate it.

I just spent nearly $100 at the grocery store buying frozen chicken breasts (cheaper than fresh), store brand cold medicine and acetaminophen, $18 worth of hot bar food for lunch for hubs & me (I'm sick), a cookie, a 12 pack of soda and a 12 pack of sparkling water.

I am floored every time I shop.

So I'm helping a client with some alterations on a costume. His consultation was yesterday. He's dressing as Prince from the Beautiful Ones and literally all I could think of is the season 2 trailer of OFMD.

You'd be proud, I only referenced the Swede twice. He had no idea what I was talking about.
