Have you checked out our new podcast yet? If you’re into law & the environment, interdisciplinary research, water and/or tips on thriving as an academic, you might enjoy a listen.

(Also, we’re just 11 downloads away from our first 500 & it would be lovely to hit that milestone.)

In this podcast chat I gave a shout-out to @goodlawproject.bsky.social 's FAQs on trans inclusivity in the wake of the supreme court judgement.

Take a look. They're practical, accessible, & aware of the costs of pushing for justice as a trans person right now.

Gable end of a five storey red brick building. A mural of a water bottle containg in detail a black and white illustration of a city. Close up of the intricate illustration in black and white of a city's streets.

The law providing protection despite itself! Let's hope that politics and insight can catch up in the meantime so that justice can become the rule and not the unintended exception.

Sometimes, but only sometimes, two wrongs can make a right. Based on an erroneous definition of transgender in a prior case, which was then codified, the Kerala High Court has found that intersex children cannot be subjected to surgeries based on parental consent alone.
