Your friendly reminder that pretty much everyone got cosy and/or ignored fascists in the 1930s. Those brave people that did anything about it were often vilified by their own nations and their service looked down on and largely forgotten.

At a time of growing political instability and jeopardy, rejoining the EU isn’t an academic issue or one borne of nostalgia. It’s a matter of political necessity.

From Dominic Grieve and me 👇
Cooperation is more effective than isolation - working with our European neighbours is the best way to defeat the threats facing Britain.

Not having the best day. The baby didn’t sleep so I kept watch all last night. This morning as I left the house, this random man was at the front entrance rummaging in his trousers. He apologised but I tried to run as quickly as I could with a small baby. Now I’ve thrown my back out. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes!! We went to that gathering. Was very cool.
Back when David Bowie died I was working in Brixton at my first ever full time professional chef job. That night there was a massive street party on Coldharbour Lane right in front of where I worked and someone painted this amazing mural. This is that mural 2 weeks after his death.it's still there.

Erm, US, you feeling ok? Do we need to stage an intervention? We all know Strump wants to control oil, plus other natural resources, as well as the drugs. They love a good false flag event. About time the UN put a stop to these nutters before the repercussions mess up the region and wider community.

Brilliant news!! Leaving the EU was one of the worst acts of political and economic self-harm. I’m still annoyed it was passed through on an advisory referendum. The sooner we get back in, the better. Also, note to all levels of the education sector: Stop Cutting Language Courses!!!

Seeing as FIFA and the US govt seem intent on ruining the World Cup I’ll definitely be boycotting. Wish they’d move all the games to Canada and Mexico. Wouldn’t go to the US now even if you paid me.
