I took a look at new Cardinal Dustin May. Looking at his history, it is impossible not to conclude there is a pretty slim chance that Dustin May is both healthy and good in 2026.
I still support the signing, but hopefully people are realistic about him.

I took a look at new Cardinal Dustin May. Looking at his history, it is impossible not to conclude there is a pretty slim chance that Dustin May is both healthy and good in 2026.

I'm not convinced the Dodgers caught a huge break. If that takes a normal bounce off the wall, I don't think Barger makes it to 3rd base.
Yes, the guy on 3rd doesn't score, but that's not the tying run anyway and it's the 9th inning.

I was rooting for the Mariners, but.... I'm pretty sure they weren't going to win this series, so I'm kind of glad the Blue Jays won the ALCS

Can't say I quite understand the plight of Seattle Mariners fans, but the fact that there is a Mariners fan getting choked up about taking a lead in Game 2 of the ALDS tells me that things have not been good!

Also I mean I get why it's different, but it's difficult to both argue he shouldn't have been IBB'ed AND that Swanson was right to steal third. Any argument for the latter (game not over) supports the former

my most unpopular opinion is that it's a sign of defective moral character if you point blank refuse to answer phone calls from unknown numbers. it's not that hard to hang up on spam/scammers, and you are probably missing important calls!
