Fishing, for me, has always and only ever been a thing to do while experiencing the outdoors. I'm only going ice fishing on a day when I want to sit on a bucket. I just don't like fish enough for that to be an end in its own right and my house is nicer than the nicest shack :)

That's fair. I've been at work so very much not tracking the conversation. Doing whatever possible to lift up the victims and meet the needs of those left behind us obviously the priority.

I'd say we celebrate the people who stand up, and we get people together to reinforce the networks of community that enable resistance. If we only celebrate an unqualified win we're never going to get to.

There are lots of other ways to address the very real harms that kids experience online:

✅ Strict privacy laws that make it illegal to harvest data and use it to recommend content

✅ Antitrust laws so we have real choices for where to go online

✅ Regulate features like autoplay & infinite scroll
