Oslo University Hospital caught using trans patients' journals for research purposes:
- Without the patients' consent to participate in research
- Affecting minors
- 1700 of them
- Taking highly sensitive information from said journals

I really think this book is a rallying cry. Because we need to fight, and we need to fight on grounds that we can actually win on, not ground that is pre-ceded to our oppressors. And Talia opens a path for us to do so with her writing.

I think it's safe to say that this is one of the most challenging books I've ever read by a trans person. Rivaling Yemaya's Daughters honestly.

unfortunately, a lot of white trans people haven't done the work to be anti-racist and don't notice how they mistreat and dehumanize Black and brown trans women.

you gotta put the work in. bring POC into your social circles.
