I've updated my guide to the Kindle range to include the new models they've just released. Is there anything here for you?

If you’re not feeling good. If something has happened and you need to bounce back, there are three important steps you can consider. I’ll explain them in this thread.

This is how we used to advertise alcohol. In future, will we look back and see we made the same mistake with social media?

(To be very clear, this is a historical advert that does not reflect modern medical advice)

A close look at how we can be influenced, by force, fear or invitation.

I think this is so important. The pressure, threats and attempts to mislead others are clearly damaging people’s mental health and wellbeing, both online and in the real world.

“A man should forget his anger before he goes to sleep” - Mahatma Gandhi

That sleepless night won’t have any effect on the person or thing you’re mad at. It will have an effect on you though.

A book that really changed things for me was Autopilot, by Andrew Smart. He explains how doing nothing, like simply watching clouds, helps the mind join the dots behind the scenes. Gives us more chance of suddenly getting a great idea.

Things I’ve found and what’s on my radar:

Pondering something that came to me. We’re all fighting over reality. Expect some content on that soon.

Really enjoyed listing to Bernie Sanders on the Joe Rogan Experience. This is how political discussion should be done.

“Focus is about saying no” - Steve jobs

This is an Interesting one. Saying no doesn’t have to be a bad thing. It's about doing what it takes to focus on what’s important.

Avoiding distractions to get things done. Protecting your time.

I think it helps to be polite, firm and focussed.

My new post, Inspiration from Eddie Jordan. It's not just one for Formula 1 fans. It's part of a series, where I've also looked at Steve Jobs and Bono.

I'll explore two important warnings Eddie Jordan would often share. 'Never let the old man in' and 'having more money than time'.

AI is everywhere. We keep being told how great it is. One of the key selling points I keep hearing about is that you can ask it to give you a summary of things. Is this really helping you though? www.thewellbeingwebsite.com/blog/can-you...

Three apps that could be your to-do list. If you need more than the free one that came with your device, this thread should help.

A big weekend for me. It’s the Le Mans 24hr.

Thinking about the anniversary of the end of the Falklands War. If you haven’t already, I’d take some time to learn about what our incredible people did down there.

I really like the idea of the new Fuji X Half camera. I don’t like the price though.

I’ve made a lot of changes to The Wellbeing Website. Please take a look. It could really help you feel better.

I’d love to know what you think.

My new post. We'll explore the way we keep being encouraged to take shortcuts.

One of the key selling points of AI seems to be it's ability to serve up condensed versions of things. I have a question. What are we missing out doing this?

It's on The Wellbeing Website.

Still enjoying all the benefits of my huge digital sort out last month, based on Tiago Forte’s PARA method. I’m working on some content about that.

“Everything you want is on the other side of fear” - Jack Canfield

That first step can be difficult. It can seem impossible, or so far away.

Sometimes, it just needs that push. That breakthrough.

Things I’ve found and what’s on my radar:

As you may have seen, my new post, Lessons from the Japanese tea ceremony has just arrived. I’m still pondering a lot of the things I explore in it.

Listening to Bono on the Joe Rogan Experience. Always inspiring.

Tranquility (Jaku)

This is all about a deep satisfaction that’s hard to put into words. A connection to something. It is not a goal in itself, it’s a result of the other three principles combined.
