Had my consultation for wegovy prescription today. Pharmacist advising on does and dont's - was advised to avoid spicy food for a few weeks as I adjust to it.

Dentists, nightmare fuel.
My follow up today was fantastic - teeth are squeaky clean, no sign of damage, no erosion or decay, no fillings or extractions required.
Very happy dentist, very happy Dan.

My brother-in-law's neighbour has an allotment. Because I cook, he's just brought around some of his glut.
We have plums, apples, pears, grapes, beetroot, squash, tomatoes... Apparently there's more to come.
... I really appreciate all this free fruit and veg, but holy shit.

I did a scary thing today. I have a phobia of dentists, after a very traumatic experience years ago. Today I booked an appointment! It sounds really simple, but I was shaking like a leaf. I'm proud of myself, and also bricking it.

In other news, I made a truly spectacular curry for dinner the other night, and we're having the leftovers tonight with some cauliflower pakora, and a dippy egg for the naan, and I'm very much looking forward to absolutely demolishing my bodyweight in coconut daal.

Had a client decide to trauma dump on me for 45 minutes.
Not in the headspace for conversations about grief at the moment, but I couldn't tell them that I'm not their therapist or grief counselor.
Cue downward spiral. Thursday is gonna be a tough day, I think.
