Our local, fancy car wash couldn’t wash our car because they were expecting raids. We went thru a basic self wash and did it ourselves. They were in fact raided. 8 ICE agents to capture 2 people. Fancy car wash has no customers; the self wash has many.

In his Henry the 8th moment, Trump and his Privy Council (formerly known as Congress), have decided to pillage institutions that oppose them. Henry destroyed monasteries, Trump is destroying universities. The shame of all this is Trump is weaponizing history all while the public is wowed by it.

The people who want to celebrate Confederate soldiers and thus the Confederacy are now philosophically against the idea of giving help. Wait. That makes sense. They just want to RECEIVE help. I see now.

It’s time for a mini- series of Gone With the Wind. It should follow the novel and show Rhett and Scarlett as they truly are: not quite so loveable criminals and miscreants.

After 5 years of gardening, I have learned 1) that it’s true that bees will leave you alone if you leave them alone and 2) that “leaving them alone” is a matter of interpretation.

The electoral college should elect someone other than trump. They can and have the power to do so. Wasn't that what it was deisgned for? To keep a demagogue like that out of power?
