After the bridge we went to nearby Burney Falls on Burney Creek and hiked to the headwaters. It's nice, in the sun, and with 📶 , which the viewers of Burney Falls don't have because we're only 69 feet higher, but on a ridge.

Done with our, 1.1 mile, easy hike, that turned into 6.5 miles and 1,500 feet—👩🔬:😠—at Safeway, on Christmas Eve, it wasn't crowded. I found our Christmas Eve Dinner, as well as maybe Christmas Day, and pie, as peace offering to—👩🔬:🤗👩.

On the way to the hotel we stopped to take a picture of Mt. Shasta, which turned out nice, aside from the power polls. Then stopped again to take a picture of the odd cloud formation we've seen all day. Here it is in Weed behind the Taco Bell. And that's Black Butte, which is our next hike—👩🔬:😥
