I started working in Machine Learning in 2013, and we very specifically called it "Machine Learning" so as NOT to confuse & mislead people into thinking it was sci fi magic. The rebrand to "AI" is meant to trick you into thinking it's something it's not.
Journalist challenge: Use “Machine Learning” when you mean machine learning and “LLM” when you mean LLM. Ditch “AI” as a catch-all term, it’s not useful for readers and it helps companies trying to confuse the public by obscuring the roles played by different technologies. 🧪

Look, about the ghost.
We haven't actually registered an apparition / cold spot / odd noise in this house.
(Unless you count a few customers asking the name of the white cat. Our cats are orange and tortoiseshell...?)
So we usually disappoint ghost hunters.
